Most often, I work with people in the studio, using the very simplest of equipment and natural light. The studio is fairly quiet most days, without people coming and going, and reasonably private. Most people find the experience relaxing and low-stress. I believe in the natural beauty of people just as they are, so usually there is no makeup, and rarely is there extensive retouching after the fact. Sure, it can be done if it is wanted, but for the most part it is not needed.

The relaxed atmosphere allows people to present themselves as they would like to be seen, which is my goal: I am not after the "candid" shot.

Occasionally we shoot on location. While not as relaxed, that introduces a whole range of interesting opportunities. Page through the "men" and "women" galleries to get a sense of the variety possible.
